Do you need to stretch your food dollar? Do you look in your cupboard and see one potato, a can of peas, a small onion and half a pound of hamburger in your refrigerator and wonder what you are going to make for dinner?
Parish of the Resurrection will be offering a crock pot cooking class on June 2 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Parish Hall at Holy Family, Old Town. Come and learn how to stretch your food dollar as well as using those bits and pieces you have in the kitchen to make a good dinner for your family.
The first 25 families to register will receive a free crock pot.
Lunch will be provided; all food (including dessert) made with minimal ingredients in crock pots. To register, call Robin Perkins at Parish of the Resurrection, 827-4000.
