Center Street partially closed due to wind storm damage
OLD TOWN, Maine — A portion of Center Street in Old Town has been closed to traffic as crews repair damage caused by a windstorm Wednesday morning.
Crews are working to remove trees that have fallen down on utility wires during the storm, Old Town Police Department said. The street was first shut down between Elm and Brunswick streets earlier in the day and will remain closed indefinitely.
The department urges motorists to seek alternate routes.
