The Old Town and Orono police logs for June 7-13, 2020, include the following.

OLD TOWN:

Around 9:30 p.m. on June 12, Officer Lucas Murphy responded to a complaint about a family fight. He arrested William Costa, 38, of East Machias on a charge of domestic violence stalking after he showed up at his wife’s apartment and tried to conceal himself. He and his wife are separated, police said. It had been made clear Costa wasn’t welcome there, according to the report. He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and is expected to appear in court on July 9. 

ORONO:

Around 6:20 p.m. on June 13, Officer Sarah Angelo issued a summons to Jonah Edgar, 19, of Orono for attempting to purchase liquor with false identification. Edgar was allegedly trying to buy alcohol at the Thriftway on Park Street when a clerk realized the identification was fake and called police. Edgar is expected in court for the offense on Aug. 6.
