Old Town police log for Aug. 16-22

OLD TOWN:

Around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 22, officers responded to a call from a residence at Nickerson Trailer Park for a report of a family fight. The complainant told police that she’d been in a fight with her boyfriend, who had blood on his face when police arrived, according to the report. Police also noticed a blue gel that was sprayed around the residence; the boyfriend said his girlfriend had thrown it. Police arrested April Dupont, 41, of Old Town for domestic violence/assault and criminal threatening. Dupont was taken to Penobscot County Jail and later released with a Sept. 24 court date.

At 3 a.m. on Aug. 24, Officer Joseph Decoteau stopped a vehicle for speeding on Stillwater Avenue. He later discovered that the driver’s license, which was issued out of Connecticut, had expired last year. He gave the driver, Austin Rosenberg, 24, of Connecticut a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license. Rosenberg is due in court Oct. 8.
