Orono seeks candidates for school board interim position

ORONO, Maine — The Orono Town Council is seeking applicants from residents who want to serve as an interim member on the RSU 26 board of directors until the next municipal election in March 2021.

RSU 26 oversees Asa Adams Elementary, and Orono Middle and High Schools. 

“The interim director will represent the citizens of the town of Orono and play an important role in policy making and financial oversight. Please consider volunteering to serve on this important Board. Your input will make a difference for our community,” the town stated on its website.

People should submit a resume or letter of interest to the town office by April 3. Information on the position is available at orono.org.
