FOOTBALL: The Old Town Coyotes lost to the Dexter Tigers on Friday night. The final score was 24-12. The Coyotes face off against the Hampden Academy Broncos at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
SOCCER: Both the Old Town girls and boys teams faced off against the Bangor Rams on Thursday, Oct. 8. The boys team gave up a 4-1 win with the girls losing 2-1 in the final minutes of their game. The Orono boys varsity soccer team took home a 2-1 win against Foxcroft Academy this week.
FIELD HOCKEY: The Coyotes shut out the Bangor Rams Friday night in a 5-0 match, continuing their undefeated season. Old Town will face off against the Rams again this week at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15.
GOLF: The Orono Red Riots posted a score of 345, earning a six-shot victory over runner-up Saint Dominic Academy during the Class C state championship on Saturday at the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro. The girls team finished in third, led by Clarice Bell.
