State fire marshal investigating West Old Town Road fire

OLD TOWN, Maine — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is reportedly investigating what caused a two-alarm structure fire at 684 West Old Town Road just before Christmas, Fire Chief Chris Baker said.

First responders from departments in Bangor, Milford, Alton, Bradley, Glenburn, Old Town, Orono and G&H Ambulance in Glenburn responded to the fire call on Monday, Dec. 23, according to an unofficial report from the area.

Details about the fire were not made publicly available last week and the State Fire Marshal’s Office did not immediately respond to multiple requests for comments.
