Weekly sports recap

BASKETBALL: The Coyotes suffered some tough losses last week with the boys losing 73-32  to No. 1 Caribou, and the girls team finishing its season after its semi-final match against Hermon, 47-34.

HOCKEY: The No. 2 Black Bears are scheduled to play its quarterfinal match against the No. 7 Brewer Witches at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. 

WRESTLING: Wrestler Kloee Moore secured the championship for Old Town High School at the Girls All-State Wrestling Championships for her weight division last week. 

SWIMMING: The boys and girls competed in the State Championship swim meet at Bowdoin College on Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 18. The boys finished in 10th place overall and the girls came in 12th and picked up a medal for top eighth placement in the 200-meter freestyle relay.
